MAJAS Switchgear Limited provides an independent switchgear engineering & design service to consultants, electrical contractors and other switchgear manufacturers.

Drawing on many years’ experience in the field of switchgear design, manufacture, installation and maintenance, we offer a range of specialist services in switchgear applications to a variety of clients in the electrical and construction industry.

We offer extensive expertise in specialist bespoke modifications and repairs to all switchgear equipment both immediate/emergency and planned. A confidential support service is also offered to any original manufacturer of switchgear.

We also specialise in offering interface engineering solutions to problems posed by outdated equipment, including multiple manufacturers' equipment where required. Sourcing materials and designing interfaces with existing equipment is one of our specialties.

• Surveying of complete installations to provide fully detailed single line drawings for building development and maintenance functions.
• Load monitoring of services can be carried out, together with engineering solutions to distribution problems.
• Equipment condition reports can be provided on individual items or complete installations, to suit your requirements.
• Servicing of Low Voltage equipment, up to 6,300A busbar systems, either by planned preventative maintenance programs or specialist support to in-house teams.
• Inspection of critical loads where predictive maintenance needs to be carried out without supply disruption, including using thermal imaging equipment to eliminate down time where required.
• Emergency call out facilities area available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, with maximum call out times to suit particular requirements. Individual call-out telephone numbers are available for specific clients.
• Supply, installation and maintenance of generators for stand-by, peak looping, base load generation and parallel operation with mains.
